We are stunned, Lord, by the thought that you place such terrible responsibilities on us––that you know each of us by name, and that you observe not only our actions before people, but the intentions of our hearts. Regardless of by what name we know you, Lord, let us each go about our duties today––and every day––as if in your presence. Amen.
